Plant-Based Crispy Chik’n Bites
Our Torula yeast-based Toravita® 300 is a natural ingredient and a great tool for flavor houses and plant-based meal developers, to modulate the perception of the undesired bitter notes. Savor-Lyfe® CB is a perfect flavor donator for meat alternative preparations, adding a full-bodied, round chicken taste to the meals. Toravita® 054 contributes to craveability while avoiding greasy fingers. With a state-of-the art preparation, Savor-Lyfe® CB will enhance the chicken base notes of your crispy bites.
PLANT-BASED DELI HAM (EMULSIFIED)
Savor-Lyfe® PH 04 adds cooked meaty flavor and Toravita® 301 masks the undesired notes of pea protein. No doubt you will enjoy these delicious slices of juicy, meaty pea-based ham (to put in your sandwich, omelette or salad).
Polpettine, plant-based “no meat” balls
For this meat plant-based application, we worked both with inactive yeast and yeast extract flavor. Toravita® 033 aids the texture by creating a strong bonding among ingredients contained in this recipe. This results in helping the forming of the balls and therefore enhancing chewiness and resistance creating better bite satisfaction. Additional to contributing to the colour, Savor-Lyfe® BEC yeast extract plays a role in the color and flavor, giving a meaty feel to this dish.

Roasted Chicken Seasoning
This seasoning is a savory blend with a roasted chicken flavor combining the sweetness of dextrose with the savory depth of onion, garlic, and rosemary. The addition of Toravita® 000 enhances the salt perception and accentuates the overall flavor profile, while Savor-Lyfe® CI imparts a rich, vegan, and natural yeast based chicken flavor. Toravita® 054 augments flavors and creates a lingering sensation.
Smoky Bacon Seasoning
This seasoning combines the sweetness of sugar and smoked paprika with the savory depth of Bakon® HFBN and smoked bacon flavor. The inclusion of Toravita® 000 enhances the salt perception and accentuates the overall flavor profile, while Toravita® 054 plays the balancer role and enriches the flavor. Bakon® HFBN infuses a rich, smoky bacon essence, and a touch of citric acid and malic acid provides a balanced tang.
Sodium-reduced baked sweet potatoes
Toravita® 028 SD combines the benefits of Torula yeast and ammonium chloride, an alternative to kitchen salt. The resulting ingredient, produced with a unique process, helps you in achieving the desired salty perception while using up to 50% of less sodium in the meal preparation. It is easy to go healthier!
Sodium-reduced quick bechamel sauce
Toravita® 028 SD and 029 SD offer a solution for sodium-reduced needs, without taste impairment. The two products combine the Torula yeast umami donation with the use of alternative salts, not containing sodium. The unique production allows masking unwanted notes typical of ammonium or potassium chloride.

Lallemand Bio-Ingredients Toravita® 054 naturally contains flavoring components able to donate umami taste. Thanks to its flavor-rounding properties, it allows reducing the sodium content in different preparation, without flavor impairment. In this proposal the sodium reduction is close to 70%!
