Scrambled Tofu

The following food application demonstrates a way to incorporate the nutritional yeast Lyfe ™ Végé Regime in an egg-less, flavorful breakfast dish.

Preparation:

  • Heat the oil in a wide pot or large frying pan. Add the vegetables, garlic and dried herbs and cook while stirring until the onions become translucent.
  • Add the crumbled tofu and heat well.
  • Add the yeast flakes, tamari and pepper.

A portion of 210g of this dish contains at least 6 micrograms of vitamin B 12 , an amount which correspond to 100% of the American recommended daily intake.
