Preparation:

  • Stir fry the onion, garlic and peppers in the olive oil until the onions become translucent.
  • Add tomato and vegetable juice, cover and let simmer 15 minutes.
  • Add cooked lentils, jalapeños, basil and yeast flakes; stir and heat thoroughly.

A portion of 250g of this dish contains at least 4 micrograms of vitamin B 12 , an amount which correspond to 65% of the American recommended daily intake.
